What is PADI?

Course Structure

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main components:

  3. Open Water Dives: Complete four dives in open water to demonstrate your skills.

Prerequisites

  • Ability to swim 200 meters/yards (or 300 meters/yards in mask, fins, and snorkel)
  • Ability to tread water or float for 10 minutes
